Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team, by providing administrative, recruitment and office support functions to the village in order to ensure smooth running of the operations.  

The Administrator is part of a wider team including maintenance, gardening and healthcare professionals. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assisting the Village Manager with administrative requirements including inductions, recruitment, training, minute taking and payroll assistance.  
  2. Assisting the Village Manager and Clinical Manager with administrative requirements for audit purposes. 
  3. Overseeing the village’s staff roster by collaborating with staff, team leaders/managers and the Village Manager in a timely and efficient manner. 
  4. Providing services in a pleasant and courteous manner which is respectful of individual privacy, dignity and personal property. 

 

Qualifications

Strength and competence in a similar role. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong administration background with the ability to pick up and learn new things quickly
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in recruitment is strongly desired
  • An excellent work ethic and ability to contribute to the existing team
  • Preference to having worked in a Retirement Village/Aged care setting 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with roster management desired
