Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work, presentations, a personal project, and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece, Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.
Working within the Visual Development team, you'll support early-stage creative development across a range of visual styles and projects. You'll create compelling visuals to help explore and convey creative ideas, using a mix of traditional 2D, 3D workflows and modern generative tools.
Junior Visual Development Artists at Framestore are creative problem-solvers who enjoy experimenting with new techniques and technologies, working collaboratively to bring concepts to life and support the wider creative process. You should be curious, visually driven, and comfortable presenting your work and ideas whilst engaging constructively with feedback.
Strong knowledge of 2D packages, including Nuke and Photoshop
Experience using ComfyUI or similar generative tools in creative workflows
Understanding of generative and cloud-based creative technologies
Foundational understanding of Gaussian Splatting
Good communication skills and ability to explain your creative process clearly
Able to take direction and feedback from a supervisor
Creative eye and passion for visual development across different styles
Interest in emerging tools and how they can support creative development
Eligibility Criteria:
You must be entering the final year of your studies (BA, MA, PhD etc) or have graduated in the past 12 months
You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident, student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship
You must be available from 6th July - 28th August 2026
