Accor’s Sofitel Dubai The Palm is hiring a full-time Waiter/Waitress in Room Dining to deliver in-room dining at this 5-star beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah. You will take orders, deliver promptly with flawless presentation, set up and clear rooms, handle guest requests and payments, coordinate with kitchen, restock and maintain a clean room service area, and uphold safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate has room service or F&B experience, excellent customer service and communication, can work well under pressure, and shows menu knowledge and dietary awareness plus flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Job Description

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.
• Restock and replenish room service items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
• Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and encourage feedback.
• Uphold hotel safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service (room service experience preferred).
