Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Weighbridge and Customer Assistance representative in Rangiora, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while accurately weighing vehicles and materials.

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operate weighbridge equipment to accurately weigh vehicles and materials
  • Record and maintain accurate weighing data and records
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information as needed
  • Resolve customer issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Operations Manager

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheet proficiency
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and record-keeping
  • Problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively
  • Ability to operate weighbridge equipment
  • Previous experience in a customer service or operations role (preferred)
  • Experience in a weighbridge or related environment (preferred)
