Arvida Group is seeking a full-time Wellness Partner at Lake Hayes Estate in Otago to enrich residents’ lives through kindness and a resident-led approach, supporting personal care and daily activities while encouraging independence. You’ll work in a team, uphold high care standards, observe and document health conditions, and rostered shifts including weekends and nights, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and ongoing training plus mentorship. NZ residents or citizens are prioritized, with NZQF Level 2–4 or equivalent for Levels 1–3 and Level 4 requiring more experience, plus English testing if overseas. Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.

Qualifications

Nga Tohu me nga wheako | Qualifications and Experience

We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.

Arvida Level 1 to Level 3

• NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least two years' of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• Evidence of English test is required if from overseas 

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 1 to Level 3)

$23.95 to $30.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Arvida Level 3 to Level 4

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years’ experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• Evidence of English test is required if from overseas

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 3 to Level 4)

$28.25 to $32.20 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
