Arvida Group Limited is seeking a Wellness Partner (Arvida Level 4) for a full-time, on-site position in Palmerston North to enrich residents’ lives through kindness and purpose. In this role you’ll partner with residents to support personal care, encourage resident-led decisions around eating, movement, rest, communication and activities, and help maintain skills and independence while observing, documenting and communicating health conditions. Ongoing training is provided. What we’re looking for: genuine enjoyment in working with older people, a strong work ethic, team orientation, honesty, energy, good organizational and problem-solving skills, and flexibility for rostered shifts including weekends and nights. NZ residents/citizens are prioritized; NZQF Level 4 or about three years of experience; pay $28.20-$32.80/hour; minimum 30 hours per week. Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions Participation in ongoing training is expected.

We will be interviewing and screening NZ Residents and NZ Citizens as a priority before looking internationally.

Arvida Level 4

  • NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three-years’ experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

Utu Taipitopito | Pay Details (Level 4)

  • $28.20 to $32.80 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
