Kinross in Gibbston, Otago is hiring a full‑time Wine Sales Associate to bridge the Wine Store and Bistro. This permanent role (min 30 hours) is onsite with NZ$27–29 plus commission, and includes daily meals, wine and bistro discounts. Are you passionate about wine and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Kinross is looking for a vibrant and knowledgeable Wine Sales Associate to join our Wine Store team. You'll play a pivotal role that connects our Wine, Bistro, and Guest Experience teams.

As a key host in our Wine Store and a warm presence in the Bistro, you’ll guide guests through our wine offerings, host informal tastings, recommend products, and drive wine and Wine Club sales. You’ll keep our retail space beautifully presented, support smooth Bistro service, and help deliver the world‑class hospitality Kinross is known for.

Location: Gibbston, Kinross

Role: Permanent, full time (min 30hours)

Pay: $27-$29 per hour + commission on all sales

This role suits someone who is energetic, organised, guest‑focused, and passionate about wine.

What you’ll do:

Engage with guests and recommend wines

• Host tastings and promote Wine Club memberships
• Process all on‑ and off‑licence sales
• Maintain stock, merchandising, and presentation
• Support the Bistro team during service
• Work closely with the Wine Team to deliver seamless experiences

You'll need:

• WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine knowledge
• Minimum 2 years' experience in wine sales
