Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Product Owner to temporarily support our Core HR squad within the Workday ecosystem. You will ensure delivery continuity, prioritize workstreams, and maintain alignment with the permanent Product Owner’s roadmap.

You will partner closely with HR, IT, cross-functional product teams, and global stakeholders. Key initiatives include:

  • Deploying bank account data and processes across ~20 countries
  • Supporting changing organizational setup values tied to an ongoing Finance transformation
  • Managing additional Core HR process enhancements requiring structured planning

Key Responsibilities

1. Prioritize and Deliver

  • Manage the squad’s backlog across enhancements, fixes, and new features.
  • Track progress against goals and timeline commitments.
  • Ensure smooth delivery for Core HR initiatives.

2. Support the Product Owner

  • Understand and align with the existing roadmap and strategy.
  • Lead tactical execution while preserving strategic intent.

3. Manage Stakeholders

  • Act as the voice of employees, HR, and the business.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies.
  • Maintain consistent, clear communication across all stakeholders.

4. Drive Execution

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to keep deliverables on track.
  • Clarify requirements, handle trade‑offs, and maintain transparency.
  • Keep priorities aligned with squad and broader product goals.

5. Maintain Standards

  • Uphold Agile practices and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing squad culture.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and support continuous improvement.
