Join Primo as a Workplace Trainer & Assessor and play a key role in shaping a safe, skilled, and high-performing workforce. This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner with operational teams to deliver engaging training, drive compliance, and support continuous improvement across our site.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver structured, task-specific training and competency assessments across operational teams
  • Facilitate engaging face-to-face inductions, refresher sessions, classroom training, and on-the-job learning
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to employees to build capability and confidence
  • Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions
  • Develop, review, and maintain training materials, task descriptions, and competency assessments
  • Maintain accurate training records within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support e-learning programs and track user progress through systems (SuccessFactors)
  • Monitor training completion rates and follow up on overdue or upcoming requirements
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation is compliant and up to date
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and food safety excellence

 

 

About You

 

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or currently working toward it)
  • Experience delivering training in a manufacturing or FMCG environment would be highly regarded
  • Confident facilitating both classroom and hands-on, workplace-based learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using LMS or HR systems
