Job Description

Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join us on a full-time, fixed term basis until 25 June 2027. This is a hybrid role, working from our Ellerslie office. We are also open to strong candidates from across the motu. 

This is a vital role supporting our Youth programme, which is for tamariki and rangatahi aged 5-19 with a focus on teaching first aid and life skills they will have forever. Our small team of Youth Administrators provide administration and customer service support to ensure the smooth running of the Youth programme nationwide. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inbox management and customer service
  • Supporting enrollments and resignations
  • Support of volunteer recruitment
  • Data entry
  • Managing purchase orders
  • Uniform management

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administration skills and comfortable working with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • "Can do' attitude and team player focused on delivering positive outcomes 
  • Be able to build strong, meaningful relationships across a diverse range of people
  • Experience in the community/volunteer sector would be advantageous
