Tips to stand out for a 3rd Key at Lids
Lead your resume with a line about your customer-service experience and any hands-on work in retail or with licensed products, especially if you’ve helped customers find items that reflect their personal style or team pride.
When you describe your must-have skills, give a concrete example of how you’ve used strong interpersonal and verbal communication to help a customer, meet a goal, or resolve a problem on the sales floor.
In interviews, be ready to discuss times you kept a store visually on-point, followed visual guidelines, or assisted with inventory tasks like shipments and merchandise resets, tying these examples to how you’d support Lids’ operations.
Ask a precise question about growth and training, such as how the company supports ongoing development for a 3rd Key role or what the path looks like from this position to higher levels in the retail team.
