Learning Coordinator, L&D Experience
DeloitteDeloitte is looking for a Learning Coordinator, L&D Experience to join its Montréal team in a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid work model. The position sits in the heart of a national learning team and carries a reference code of 135423. The primary location is Montréal, QC, with opportunities to support across Canada as needed.
In this role, you’ll help deliver Audit & Assurance technical learning programs for national and regional audiences, balancing in-person and virtual sessions with careful attention to participant coordination, communications, and the learning systems that keep everything on track. Deloitte emphasises a purpose-driven culture, aiming to support people, organisations, and communities to thrive while offering flexible benefits and mentoring to help you grow.
Deloitte Canada is the largest 100% Canadian-owned and operated professional services firm in the country, and the firm emphasises inclusion, learning, and career growth as part of its people-first approach. The organization is comfortable placing value on flexible work arrangements and a culture that supports development and well-being.
Coordinating learning programs for national audiences
The day-to-day involves orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of technical learning programs for Audit & Assurance, coordinating both in-person and virtual experiences for audiences across the country. You’ll help plan and execute sessions, handle participant enrolments and logistics, and manage communications and learning-system data so learners are enrolled at the right time and have what they need to succeed. You’ll also work with the Manager of Learning Operations to align these programs with practice objectives and contribute to special projects. In practice, you’ll manage logistics from schedules and venues to facilitators, platforms, and on-site support, while keeping trackers current and providing timely status updates and escalation when delivery risks arise. You’ll monitor budgets and help with expense tracking, building solid relationships with internal stakeholders, faculty, vendors, and extended teams to create a consistent learner experience. When needed, you’ll provide on-site support and be ready to travel or work extra hours to ensure successful delivery and issue resolution.
What you’ll need to bring
You will be expected to bring a track record of coordinating events, projects, learning programs, or similar operational activities in a fast-paced environment. You should show strong organizational sense, good judgment, and the ability to manage several programs at once while meeting firm deadlines. Attention to detail matters, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) is important; experience keeping data and trackers accurate is an asset. A proactive, service-oriented mindset helps you work independently, solve problems, and build effective relationships with stakeholders, including on-site or travel requirements. Because the role interacts with national clients, being fluent in both French and English is required.
- Experience coordinating events, projects, learning programs, or similar operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization, judgment, and prioritization skills to juggle concurrent programs and strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and comfort using Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams); data tracking skills are a plus.
- A proactive, service-driven approach, with the ability to work independently, solve problems, build stakeholder relationships, and handle on-site or travel commitments.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English due to interactions with national clients.
Compensation, benefits and schedule
The role carries a salary range of 47,000 CAD to 78,000 CAD per year, and there may be eligibility to participate in a bonus program. Deloitte’s Total Rewards package goes beyond base pay to support well-being and growth, including a mental health benefit of up to 4,000 CAD per year, a 1,300 CAD flexible benefit spending account, firm-wide Deloitte Days, Development and Innovation Days for learning, flexible work arrangements, and a hybrid work structure. Advice for applicants
Highlight in your resume how you’ve managed end-to-end delivery of learning programs or events, especially when coordinating multiple pieces of a program and meeting tight deadlines. Show concrete examples where you moved a program from planning through completion, including participant management, logistics, and data accuracy in a learning system.
Demonstrate your skills with tangible outcomes: describe how you maintained data quality, tracked progress, and supported budget reconciliation, all while keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates. If you’ve worked with national audiences or in a bilingual environment, call that out early and include any relevant metrics or feedback you received.
Be ready to discuss how you handle on-site and travel requirements, and give a specific example of resolving an operational issue or implementing a process improvement that reduced delivery risk or rework. Prepare a scenario where you had to adapt quickly to changing needs while keeping participants engaged.
When you’re in the interview, consider asking about how Audit & Assurance learning programs are structured today, what success looks like for a Learning Coordinator on the team, and how this role collaborates with the Manager of Learning Operations to drive learning strategy across Canada.
