Tips to stand out for this role
Lead with your most relevant experience. If you’ve spent five years in sales, business development, or advertising, put that up front on your resume so the recruiter sees it first.
Demonstrate the must-have capabilities with concrete examples. Include situations where you managed relationships with customers or agencies and led cross-functional teams, and mention any hands-on online ads work within a matrixed setting.
Come prepared with data-driven stories. Describe analyses you built, how you quantified opportunities, and how your recommendations aligned with a client’s goals and metrics.
Ask about cross-functional collaboration. A smart question could focus on how the team structures joint, long-term strategies and how success is measured across Google products for client outcomes.
