Mountain Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run its Rouse Hill store. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role within the Australia Retail team, offering a chance to lead with a brand known for outdoor gear.

Leading the store floor and developing the team

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to guide a motivated, high-performing team, setting a collaborative tone and clear goals for daily operations.

A key part of the role is coaching and training, helping your team grow in product knowledge and service excellence so customers receive standout support.

On the operations side, you’ll help run day-to-day life, ensure company policies are followed, and keep the store looking sharp through strong visual merchandising and tidy housekeeping.

Safety and talent recruitment also sit in your remit, with regular risk checks and efforts to attract and retain capable colleagues.

You’ll monitor sales performance, manage stock levels and replenishment, and implement measures to prevent loss and protect profitability.

In every customer interaction, you’ll lead by example and help the team deliver a Mountain Warehouse experience while building ties with the local community.
