Advice for applicants

Put your revenue-management successes up top on your resume, starting with a concrete result you achieved in a cluster or multi-property context and noting any budget or inventory controls you managed.

When you describe your must-have skills, back them up with specific examples of problem solving and hands-on leadership in a hospitality setting. Show how your approach affected guest experiences and financial performance.

In interviews, be ready to walk through a strategy you developed that improved revenue metrics and to discuss how you collaborate with reservations and meetings & events teams while staying compliant with due-diligence and audit requirements.

Ask a smart question about how the cluster revenue management team collaborates with reservations and meetings & events inquiries, and which key metrics the team prioritizes to measure success on a daily basis.
