Anker Innovations is expanding its marketing team with a Brand Communications Specialist for Canada, based in Vancouver and working onsite on a full-time basis. The role centers on building an emotional connection between the brand and users, crafting content that resonates in an AI-powered era and lands with audiences across global markets.

The position is a good fit for someone who turns product value into clear, engaging stories and who has hands-on experience with campus media or student-led branding. The company seeks a creative, user-minded communicator who can help translate brand value into content that speaks to diverse audiences, while using AI to streamline production and support localization.

Open to Class of 2027 graduates with a bachelor’s degree or higher from any major; while backgrounds like communications, advertising, Chinese, foreign languages, psychology, sociology and related fields are common, a strong sense for content and brand storytelling matters most.

Daily rhythm in the brand studio

You’ll contribute to brand campaign ideation and narrative planning, turning strategic themes into compelling content that expresses the brand value and lands with users across different markets.

You’ll apply AI tools to assist with copywriting, visual asset generation, and multilingual localization, aiming to raise production efficiency while preserving tone and quality.

On the communications side, the role covers social media operations, collaborations with KOLs, and channel communications, giving you exposure to end-to-end communications management. There’s also work in media relations, PR campaign planning, public sentiment monitoring, and crisis management to help protect and position the brand effectively.

What you’ll need to bring

The team differentiates between essential qualifications and tidy-to-haves. Here’s how they break it down, reworded for clarity.

  • Graduating in 2027 with a bachelor’s degree or higher, any field considered.
  • Experience with campus media, content creation, student clubs, or brand projects, plus demonstrated copywriting or campaign planning ability.
  • A sharp eye for brand insight, capable of quickly grasping brand tonality, sensing user emotions and cultural trends, and ensuring communications feel authentic to the audience.
  • A genuine passion for content creation, a love of words and storytelling, and the skill to translate complex product value into clear, resonant brand content.
  • Interest in AI and familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Runway, with the ability to fold AI techniques into the content production workflow without losing quality.
  • Experience with multilingual localization or working with diverse global audiences is a plus.

What’s in it for you and how it works

The role is on-site in Vancouver, Canada, and full-time, with the expectation of working from the location.

Candidates must hold a valid work visa for the country/region where the position is located.

Advice for applicants

Put your campus media and branding experiences up front on your resume, and include concrete samples or links to campaigns you helped plan or content you produced.

When you talk about the must-haves, bring examples that show you understanding brand tone and how you captured user emotions in real campaigns or projects, with brief before-and-after notes that illustrate the impact.

Prepare for interviews by outlining a time you used an AI tool to speed up content creation without sacrificing voice or quality, and explain how you handled multilingual localization for a piece meant for several markets.

Have a thoughtful question ready about mentorship and how the team measures success on AI-assisted content campaigns, such as what criteria define effective storytelling across global markets and how trainee contributors are evaluated.
