Twinings & Co is hiring a permanent, full-time Brand Manager to steer growth across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong emphasis on eCommerce and Out-of-Home channels. The role is based onsite in Australia and reports to the Senior Brand Manager. If you’re excited by consumer brands, NPD, and cross-functional collaboration that moves the needle, this could be a great match.
Twinings & Co carries a 300-year heritage and operates on a global scale, with a solid brand position and a positive growth trajectory in Australia. The team is looking for a commercially minded marketer who blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to keep the brand advancing in a competitive market.
If you enjoy shaping brand direction, delivering channel-specific plans, and partnering with Insights, Sales, and Finance to drive results, you’ll likely feel at home here.
Day-to-day rhythm that moves the needle
You’ll shape channel-specific strategies for core ranges, new product development, gifting and premium lines, turning those plans into practical roadmaps for Australia and New Zealand. You’ll work closely with the local team and the NPD group to deliver product changes, crafting ideas for each channel and tailoring offers for the Australian market within the global pantry framework.
In execution, you’ll partner across Sales, Finance, Category and Marketing to roll out NPD and customer marketing initiatives, set targets, plan the steps, and analyse outcomes post-launch. You’ll build engaging materials for customers and lead cross-functional forums to keep plans aligned, using test-and-learn approaches to scale what works and adjust where performance falters. You’ll also guide the gifting, tea merchandise and seasonal ranges to recruit new consumers and strengthen brand equity.
What you’ll bring to the role
Must-haves
- A university degree in marketing or business management
- Proven experience in brand management with a track record of launching new products
- Strong knowledge of marketing practices and innovation methods, including agile and design-led thinking
- A history of delivering results in fast-moving consumer goods and the ability to work across both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution
Nice-to-haves
- Experience delivering growth through ecommerce and other channels, including making a case for channel-specific opportunities
- A track record of leading cross-functional projects and influencing teams beyond your direct report lines
Compensation, benefits and practical details
The role is based in Australia, a permanent, full-time position performed onsite. The application deadline is 20 October 2026. Benefits include an additional 1% superannuation, flexible or hybrid working options, Birthday Day Leave, discounts on Twinings products, and access to LinkedIn Learning, plus networking opportunities across the ABF Group.
Advice for applicants
Lead with a strong brand-management snapshot on your resume, focusing on FMCG experience and any NPD launches you’ve led, with clear channel exposure such as ecommerce or OOH. Tie your summary to tangible outcomes, growth you generated, launches you led, or improvements in portfolio performance.
When you describe must-have skills, back them up with a concrete example: a cross-functional NPD project you shepherded from concept through in-market delivery, including how you validated the opportunity and what commercial results followed.
Prepare for conversations by detailing how you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Be ready to walk through a specific NPD or gifting project, the steps you took, the data you used, and the impact on sales, brand health, or recruitment.
Ask a smart, job-specific question to end an interview: how the team prioritises NPD opportunities across core, gifting and premium ranges, and how collaboration with Insights, Sales and Finance shapes the path to scale successful launches.
