Broista! Olive
West Side DB, LLCWest Side DB, LLC is looking for a full-time, onsite Broista! Olive to join a Dutch Bros shop serving Peoria, AZ and the broader West Valley. This role puts you at the front line of hospitality, crafting drinks, helping guests find what they want, and keeping the store running smoothly. If you enjoy fast-paced service, a friendly crowd, and getting the order right every time, this could be a good fit.
The job sits in a neighborly, customer-focused operation that emphasizes speed, quality, and service in balance. The team values a calm, welcoming vibe and will look to you to help uphold the West Valley culture while you grow with the brand.
There’s real room to grow for someone who owns their outcomes and leans into the shop’s mission. If you’re the kind of person who shows up ready to serve and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in.
A day in the life behind the espresso bar
On a typical shift, you’d aim to deliver a standout customer experience by treating each guest to a little moment of special while moving through orders with care. You’ll greet customers warmly, take their orders, and build drinks to Dutch Bros standards, making sure every cup matches exactly what they asked for. Along the way you’ll educate guests about the menu, current specials, and how best to navigate the shop, all while projecting a clean, polished appearance and keeping the line moving smoothly.
You’ll stay in close touch with teammates, demonstrate respect in every interaction, and contribute to a positive shift vibe. Keeping the shop sparkling and orderly, attending mandatory meetings, and following the Mafia Manifesto and Employee Handbook are part of the routine. You’ll refer to the standard checklist and manifesto to ensure you’re performing the role the brand expects, stay calm during busy periods, anticipate guest needs, and turn to supervisors when something needs attention. You’ll also stay connected to team updates via Band feeds and chats to stay in the loop and help promote the culture and mission of Dutch Bros. West Valley.
Must-have requirements, and a note on what isn’t listed
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Be available in line with the hours shown on the availability form
- Fill at least three shifts per week
- Have solid English communication skills, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking
- Be comfortable handling cash and performing quick mental math
- Be able to meet the job’s physical demands and employment conditions
There aren’t additional listed “nice-to-haves” beyond these essential functions, but the role does come with a defined set of physical and policy requirements described below.
The practical side: schedule, certifications and support
The position is onsite in Peoria, AZ, and full-time. You’ll participate in onboarding training and must make drinks according to corporate standards, including passing a Flow Test. The team will help you obtain an Arizona Food Handlers Card, and for Shift Lead positions and above you’ll pursue a Certified Food Protection Manager certification. A background check is required for Assistant Manager positions and above. The shop asks you to stay informed through Band feeds and chats and to consistently promote Dutch Bros. West Valley culture and mission. If you need accommodations in any part of the application process, you can email [email protected] and include Accommodation Request in the subject line; accommodation requests are confidential and will not impact your application status.
Physical demands cover long periods of standing and walking, sometimes up to ten hours at a time, with occasional bending or crawling, and the potential to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. You may occasionally climb ladders or ramps, and you’ll perform frequent wrist and spine movements, as well as continuous talking while interacting with guests and teammates. The job may involve exposure to bright lighting, including strobe lights, and requires sharp vision at near and far distances. Be prepared for working in extreme heat or cold and for being near cleaning chemicals as part of routine shop upkeep.
In addition to the physical expectations, a few employment conditions apply after you’re hired: you’ll need to obtain a current Arizona Food Handlers Card, and a Certified Food Protection Manager certification if you’re in a Shift Lead role or higher; you’ll complete the onboarding program and demonstrate drink-making consistency through the Flow Test; and you’ll pass a background check for certain supervisory roles.
Lead with your availability and show you can commit to a minimum of three shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, right up front on your resume.
Give concrete examples of your cash handling and mental math ability. If you’ve balanced tills or processed cash transactions under pressure before, describe a quick scenario when you kept accuracy while moving lines.
Be ready to demonstrate your drink-making skills and your comfort with following corporate standards. If you have prior food service or coffee shop experience, mention how you’ve adhered to brand guidelines and completed quality checks, since you’ll be asked to pass a Flow Test.
Ask about the onboarding and certification path. A good question is how the shop stages the process for Arizona Food Handlers Card and CFPM certification, and what the first 60 days typically look like in terms of training and milestones.
