Business Development Manager
AramexAramex, a global name in logistics and express delivery, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, onsite role centers on driving meaningful revenue growth by winning new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones, all while translating customer goals into practical Aramex solutions. The right person will enjoy building partnerships, presenting compelling value, and working across marketing, solutions, and account management to move deals forward.
For this role, you’ll thrive if you have a background in B2B sales within logistics or shipping and a proven record of delivering results. You should be comfortable working with leaders across different regions and backgrounds, and you’ll need to be able to travel domestically as needed to meet clients and attend events. What your daily work looks like
On a typical day you’ll partner with vertical and field marketing to generate and nurture leads that drive targeted revenue, while also cultivating opportunities within your assigned geographies through a value-based approach. You’ll manage relationships with current clients and look for ways to expand into additional regions and products, turning client goals into tangible Aramex offerings. At the same time you’ll act as a consultant, listening to customers to understand their business objectives and presenting solutions that deliver clear business value aligned with those goals.
You’ll collaborate with the solutions group to define innovative offerings and you'll work closely with account managers to ensure the customer experience remains smooth from first contact through ongoing service. You’ll handle the full sales process and keep customer data current in CRM, while also networking with industry peers and internal teams to stay informed about market trends, marketing tactics, and sales strategies.

Tips for your application
Lead your resume with a clear snapshot of your logistics-focused business development experience, highlighting the eight-plus years you’ve spent driving revenue and expanding client bases. Include concrete numbers that illustrate your impact, such as revenue growth you’ve contributed to or the size of client portfolios you’ve managed.
When you describe your must-have skills, cite specific cases where you translated a client’s business objectives into an Aramex solution. Show how you collaborated with sales teams, solutions groups, and marketing to close opportunities and improve outcomes for customers.
Prepare for interviews by walking through stories where you turned market insights into new opportunities, including how you navigated complex negotiations and aligned proposals with customers’ strategic aims. Be ready to discuss how you would approach expanding into additional regions and products for Aramex.
Consider asking a thoughtful question about how Aramex measures the impact of business development work in this region, how the BD team collaborates with the solutions group, and what short- and long-term targets look like for new regions or product lines.
