The role
This role provides dedicated commercial leadership, operational oversight and performance management across Te Taumata's commercial subsidiary group. This is a 12 month fixed term role based in Rotorua.
You'll report directly to the relevant subsidiary boards and provide reporting to the FAR Committee, giving you real governance exposure and the ability to shape commercial strategy from the ground up.
Day to day, you'll support the Property Management function and the new Housing Development, driving business plans, budgets and performance across each entity. You'll monitor commercial performance, financial sustainability and risk, and identify opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen systems and build long-term value for Te Taumata and Ngāti Whakaue.
You'll also be the senior point of contact for contractors, consultants, funders, regulators and legal advisors, and you'll work closely with Finance and external advisors to keep financial information accurate, timely and audit-ready.
