RYHR is seeking a Housing Support Worker in Rotorua for a fixed-term through June 2028, with options for full-time or part-time, onsite in the Housing & Wellbeing team. You’ll provide whānau-centred case coordination under the Housing First programme, build trusted relationships, deliver outreach in homes and community settings, and coordinate steps from housing intake to tenancy sustainment while connecting to income, health services and daily essentials. Bring experience supporting people facing homelessness or trauma, knowledge of Housing First and trauma-informed or kaupapa Māori approaches, strong relationship-building and record-keeping skills, a NZ Driver Licence, and openness to te reo Māori. We're looking for a Housing Support Worker to join our Housing & Wellbeing team, walking alongside whānau to find stable homes and build the connections that make a house a home.

As a Housing Support Worker, you'll provide ongoing, whānau-centred case coordination and practical support to people finding their way into stable housing under our Housing First programme. Working within a supportive team, you'll build trusted relationships, provide outreach in homes and community settings, and coordinate the practical steps.
From finding a home, to setting it up, sustaining the tenancy, and connecting to the wider support that helps people thrive.
You won't be doing this alone. You'll work alongside other fabulous Key Worker, Peer Support Workers, our amazing Clinical team and our Front of House support.
