Tips for getting this internship
Lead your resume with your current degree program and your expected graduation date, and include your GPA if it’s 3.4 or higher. Tie your experience to the must-have skills listed, citing specific lab projects where you used test equipment and any analog or RF coursework, and highlight any Python, VB.NET or C# work you’ve done.
Be ready to describe a past experiment where you analyzed data to draw clear conclusions and how you would present those findings to a non-technical audience. Provide a concrete example of how you helped improve a procedure or test outcome based on your analysis.
During interviews, expect questions about how you would approach reliability testing or a MEMS-related measurement challenge. You can also prepare a short example of automation work you built or contributed to, and consider asking about the kinds of MEMS tests interns typically work on and how automation projects are prioritized within the Advanced Cellular group.
Have a targeted question ready about the internship’s projects or the timing of final presentations to business leaders, showing you’re thinking about how your work would connect to Skyworks’ goals.
