The Client Solutions Manager (CSM) - Retail & Ecommerce is an expert in TikTok's performance & branding advertisement products for key clients in the industries such as marketplaces, fashion, electronics, furniture, beauty, price comparison sites and quick commerce apps.
The CSM acts as a strategic partner to advertisers, supporting them across the full funnel, from awareness to conversion, while ensuring scalable campaign execution, robust measurement frameworks, and actionable insights that drive sales and long-term growth.
You will collaborate with Client Partners to design end-to-end strategies, manage campaign operations, and optimize performance across web and app channels. A strong understanding of web ,app tracking, campaign optimizations, A/B testing, and measurement setup, is critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow post-sale client relationships with Retail & Ecommerce vertical advertisers
- Support and work closely with the Client Partners on pre-sale research and pitch with a greater focus on relevant product solutions and advertising strategy
- Create and optimize client ad strategies by using a wide range of TikTok for Business product solutions, including organic solutions, branding, brandformance , performance and consideration products
- Increase adoption and engagement of TikTok’s auction platform and auction-based tools, providing ongoing technical support and real time analysis
- Analyze campaign performance data to offer clients data-driven business insights and, at the same time, use those insights to improve our advertising offerings.
- Conduct regular and strategic business reviews and take a consultative, long-term approach to build productive relationships with clients, in collaboration with various internal teams
- Keep an accurate record of pending and active campaign plans and maintaining campaign schedules and availability of ad inventory
- Act as product champion to drive revenue and adoption in key product and business growth areas, build team level expertise, and actively promote cross-regional/functional exchange and collaboration
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to help them troubleshoot client issues during a campaign, provide market feedback, and support TikTok for Business product development
- Work closely with creative teams to provide Retail & Ecommerce clients with creative solutions support including creative insights and creative strategies
- Work closely with measurement partners and advertisers to develop a solid understanding of how advertisers measure success and help them understand the true value of TikTok
- Build trusting relationships and robust communication with external client & agency teams to ensure sustained growth of accounts
- Cooperate with the ad policy team to ensure the clients and team are kept up to date on any policy changes and get all support needed
- Take responsibility for campaign setup checks, performance monitoring and optimization suggestions for every client in the book of business
- Drive and facilitate the adoption of Pixels, MMPs, TikTok Shop where applicable
- Put together narratives, workshops and business reviews etc. to educate and upskill clients in charting the way forward
- Share client/market/vertical learnings and knowledge across Client Solutions Teams, and beyond where pertinent, through case studies or other ad hoc sharings
- Cooperate with the Ad Operation team to ensure a smooth and successful campaign execution, and ensure ad specifications and rates are accurate.
- Cooperate with the Organic team to help clients enhance organic presence to complement paid activities
- Gather, analyse and present data alongside insights and actionable next steps as part of post campaign reporting or account audits
- Proritise tasks by urgency level and impact in alignment with Client Partners
