Te Taumata is expanding its Housing and Wellbeing team in Rotorua and seeks a Clinical Key Worker in Mental Health and Addiction on a fixed-term basis through June 2028. The role sits alongside a Registered Nurse and a Social Worker, focusing on strengthening clinical capability, coaching Key Workers, and delivering trauma-informed, Kaupapa Māori guided, mana-enhancing support to whānau using Housing First principles. The Role 

Te Taumata's Housing and Wellbeing team is rebuilding and growing, and clinical capability is central to that. We're expanding our clinical team to three, we are seeking a social worker and bringing on an additional Mental Health and Addiction Practitioner to work alongside our existing Registered Nurse. 

It's a real opportunity to help shape what clinical practice looks like here: bringing technical strength into the team and coaching and guiding our Key Workers in their day to day work with whānau. 

You'll provide clinical input, support complex cases, and offer consultation and practice support across the wider team. 

At its heart, this role is about relationships, walking alongside whānau in a way that's grounded in kaupapa Māori, trauma informed practice, Housing First principles, and mana enhancing support. 

You'll build respectful, trusted, mana enhancing relationships with manahā and whānau, as well as support our team of Key Workers, coaching and guiding them with technical support to help them in their mahi. 

You'll need: 

• A relevant tertiary qualification in social work or mental health and addiction services 
• Current professional registration, practising certificate, membership or recognised credential relevant to your pathway 
• A current full New Zealand Driver Licence 

You'll be working with vulnerable whānau, so the right skills and experience really matter.
