CHT Care Homes is seeking a compassionate Clinical Quality Advisor for a full-time onsite role in Ellerslie, E7, to support clinical quality improvements across 21 care homes. You will partner with the Clinical Quality Lead to deliver the Clinical Quality Strategy, assist with risk mitigation, collate and analyse data, identify trends and develop training, drive continuous improvement projects, support audits and collaborate with the Learning & Development Advisor on clinical training while maintaining current competency. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with 3-5 years of experience and Practising Certificate, strong risk assessment and communication skills, data literacy, and the ability to travel. Purpose of Position:
To support clinical quality improvements, education and initiatives across the CHT Care Homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Quality Lead to deliver the Clinical Quality Strategy
• Support clinical risk mitigation across the CHT care homes
• Collate data, review, analyse and report
• Identify themes and trends and recommend / develop initiatives or training
• Provide education and training to support quality initiatives and improvements
• Participate in continuous improvement projects across the care homes
• Support the audit process as needed
• Work with the Learning & Development Advisor on clinical training
• Maintain competency in knowledge and clinical practice appropriate to the role
• Support CHT in creating and maintaining a responsive and respectful culture that integrates our values, enables diversity and is culturally appropriate
Ideal Person Specification
• Compassionate and caring, with empathy for the older population, with a working knowledge of aged residential care
• Excellent risk assessment skills
• Effective in coaching and mentoring, driving improvements and best practice
• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience and Practising Certificate
• Strong communicator, with excellent oral and written communication skills, with clear spoken English
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality reporting
• Critical thinker, able to work autonomously, across care homes and with key stakeholders
• Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of VCare
• Current full driver’s licence and able to travel.
