General Purpose
Reporting to the Communications Manager (temporarily to the Manager, Business Processes and Systems), the Communications Coordinator supports the delivery of clear, accurate, and accessible communications that enable students, staff, and faculty to effectively navigate academic and financial processes across the University.
This role provides dedicated communications support to key areas within ORS, including the Lincoln Alexander Student Service Centre, Student Financial Services, and Enrolment and Scheduling Services. The position focuses on high-impact, student-facing topics such as registration, tuition and fees, financial aid, scheduling, academic records, deadlines, system changes, and service disruptions.
As part of a central, service-oriented team, the Communications Coordinator develops and delivers timely, high-volume communications aligned with institutional policies and governance frameworks. The role also contributes to project communications, change management, and continuous service improvement through stakeholder engagement and feedback.
