This full-time, onsite role is based in Perth, and it’s a fit for someone who enjoys coordinating across project teams to keep contract records, notices and variations moving on schedule. The company has been operating in Australia for more than 25 years, with local experience backed by significant global expertise and resources.

The company values diverse perspectives and seeks people who can help the team stay compliant, auditable and focused on delivering complex projects.
They’re looking for someone who can juggle attention to detail with deadlines, and who communicates clearly with colleagues and suppliers to keep everything on track from early procurement through close-out.
A day-to-day on a Perth project
You’ll administer procurement and subcontract documentation in line with project procedures and approval requirements, and keep all records up to date so everything remains auditable. You’ll maintain current subcontract registers, procurement schedules, correspondence logs and contract files, ensuring information is easy to reference and traceable.
Daily tasks include tracking notices, submissions, approvals and key dates, along with following up with the right stakeholders to keep processes moving. You’ll back tender and procurement activities by issuing documents, recording clarifications and maintaining tender records to support commercial decisions.
In addition, you’ll help with subcontract awards, ensuring documentation is reviewed, approved, executed and securely recorded. You’ll monitor subcontractor compliance with contractual obligations and project procedures, and coordinate the receipt and processing of claims, payment applications and supporting documentation.
When variations or extensions of time arise, you’ll record and assess changes, escalating commercial or contractual issues to the Senior Contracts Manager. You’ll draft correspondence and contract administration documentation for review, assist with resolving subcontractor queries with the project delivery teams, and track deliverables to address delays or non-compliance while keeping complete, auditable records of all decisions and correspondence. You’ll contribute to regular reporting on procurement progress, contractual status, claims and variations, and look for ways to improve processes where gaps are found.

Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with concrete examples of how you’ve managed procurement and contract administration across a project lifecycle, especially where you maintained records, notices, variations and close-out documentation.
When you describe your must-have skills, tie them to real outcomes, like how you kept subcontract registers and contract files current or how you tracked key dates and notices to keep projects on track.
Be ready to talk through a time you identified and escalated a commercial or contractual issue to a Senior Contracts Manager, including how you documented the issue and what resolution steps followed.
Ask a targeted question about auditable record-keeping and how the team ensures complete documentation for decisions, approvals, claims, variations and correspondence. A good question shows you value traceability and compliance on complex projects.
