Full-time
On-site
Kleinostheim, DE

Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe, is expanding its Toll Operations team in the Frankfurt area. The role centers on supporting customers across Europe with toll-related questions, billing options, and registration details. This fixed-term, full-time position lives in the Kleinostheim region but sits in the toll operations group serving clients and partners around the greater Frankfurt area. The team values practical problem-solving and a service mindset, and the role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders to keep toll processes moving smoothly.

As a Customer Care Consultant for Toll Services, you’ll be the point person for customers and partners dealing with European tolls, registrations, and billing. The assignment runs for one year, offering an immersive experience in toll management, collaboration with suppliers along the value chain, and a chance to shape how toll processes are implemented and documented. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes to translate complex procedures into clear steps and helpful customer guidance.

Anyone who enjoys solving practical problems for businesses and customers, who can manage registrations and inquiries with accuracy, and who wants to help align toll processes across systems will find this role engaging. The position is onsite in Kleinostheim, within the Frankfurt metro area, with flexibility on how work gets done day to day depending on team needs.

Daily rhythms in toll operations

On a typical day you’ll advise customers about European tolls and the different ways they can be billed, while also clearing up registration and invoicing details with clients, suppliers, and partners. The work blends consulting with operational tasks, so you’ll also handle orders, registrations, and the handling of complaints and returns, ensuring every step stays aligned with existing policies and agreed service levels. Part of the job is to define how toll processes work in practice and to coordinate these processes with current systems and any new toll platforms that come online. Collaboration is a constant: you’ll partner closely with various cooperation partners and suppliers across the entire value chain to keep information and workflows in sync. Finally, you’ll create and keep process documentation up to date so teammates and customers have a clear reference for how toll operations are run.

What you bring and what would help others

  • Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification
  • Ideally some background in tolls, transport or logistics, plus multiple years in professional customer service or toll-related tasks
  • A strong service mindset with a practical, solutions-focused approach to customer needs
  • High proficiency with MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Additional language skills beyond German and English are advantageous

Smart steps to win this toll role

Lead with your commercial training or equivalent qualification on your resume, and make sure it’s easy to see how your background aligns with this toll-focused position. If you have toll, transport or logistics experience, demonstrate it with concrete examples that also highlight your customer-facing work and any registrations or billing tasks you handled. Provide specific scenarios where you facilitated cooperation with partners or suppliers and where your documentation helped others follow the process more easily. In interviews, be ready to discuss how you would define and align toll processes for existing systems and for new toll platforms, and bring ideas for how you would document those processes. Finally, consider what you’d ask about: inquire how new toll systems are integrated and how cross-functional teams coordinate the rollout and updates to process documentation.
