Google is looking for a Security Customer Engineer and SecOps specialist onsite in Munich to cover enterprises in the EMEA North region (Nordics, CEE, DACH), blending customer-facing presales with hands-on security architecture work. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in security or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or technical sales engineering role.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) and in cybersecurity issues.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently, in order to speak publicly to geographically customers, and deliver technical presentations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced education in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology, or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Cloud or Security industry certifications.
- Experience in engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders (e.g., CISOs, CIOs).
- Presales and implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), architecture designs.
- Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the cybersecurity industry such as ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust.
- German speaking (B2 level), to allow for deeper engagement with German speaking customers.

Responsibilities
- Work with Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and prototype advanced integrations within complex customer and partner environments.
- Architect and recommend comprehensive integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and AI-ready infrastructures required to successfully implement holistic Google Cloud Security solutions.
- Act as a prominent public advocate and thought leader for Google Cloud Security at customer sites, industry conferences, and events, articulating Google's goal for security in the age of AI.
- Understand complex customer technical objections and develop, AI-driven solutions to resolve blockers for enterprise accounts.
- Advocate our dual mission of "AI for Security" and "Security for AI." Share deep security expertise to build strong technical relationships, leading technology advocacy, bid responses, and proof-of-concepts, while partnering with product management to shape the future of Google Cloud Security solutions.
