Advice for applicants
Lead with your master’s degree in chemistry or a related field and your DG qualifications right at the top of your resume so the reviewer sees you fit the must-haves immediately.
When you describe your experience, highlight a project where you used SAP EHSM and conducted DG classification across DOT, RID/ADR, IATA, and IMO, noting your PK1 certification and DG Safety Advisor training as proof you can handle the core requirements.
Be ready to discuss how you’ve used programming skills (for example in Python, Java, or KNIME) to support data analysis, automation, or process improvements within a DG context.
Ask a targeted question in your interview about upcoming automation initiatives for global DG processes and how this role would contribute to those efforts. A good example is to inquire about specific projects that aim to streamline classification, packaging decisions, or compliance workflows across regions.
