Orica is seeking a Diesel Fitter to join the South Surface Coal team in Boggabri, NSW, on a full time onsite basis. In this hands on role you’ll perform scheduled servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance on mobile equipment and plant, support Mobile Manufacturing Units and fixed plant, provide on site and remote technical support, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring colleagues in a strong safety culture. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Fitting) or equivalent, with experience in mobile plant, hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems, and the ability to work independently and follow procedures, plus a willingness to obtain required permits.
