The role sits on-site in Dubai and will involve occasional regional travel. It’s a fit for someone who knows the Dubai and wider UAE events scene inside out, enjoys shaping polished experiences, and wants to help bring Xsolla’s presence at local expos and the Xsolla Club in Dubai to life.
The person who lands this role will be a trusted, self-driven operator who can shepherd local events from idea to execution. They’ll work closely with the Event Operations Manager and regional colleagues to reflect genuine local market understanding, secure the right venues and vendors, and keep events running on time and on budget. Keeping the calendar buzzing in Dubai
Day-to-day, you’ll search for and negotiate local venues in Dubai and the UAE, weighing hire fees, catering, and related costs to deliver value. You’ll line up and oversee local vendors for booth production, AV, event rentals, video and photography, and merchandise, ensuring everything aligns with the brand and budget. You’ll help deliver sponsorship commitments at the DFGC/Xsolla events expo and other local events, while also planning community-driven events that raise awareness of the Xsolla Club in the region.
Budgets are part of the job, so you’ll track costs in the right currencies and keep the numbers fresh as projects progress. You’ll also arrange hotels for staff attending Dubai-hosted events through the hotel sourcing agency, and you’ll set up new local events on the Xsolla events page with clear copy, venue details, and logos. You’ll support event registrations, creating copy, graphics, and forms, and you’ll connect with local event organizers to explore new opportunities and sponsorship options. For speaking sessions, you’ll coordinate logistics with BD, Product, and Creative teams, and you’ll keep the local event roadmap tracker up to date with sponsor information, dates, and links. When it comes to on-site work, you’ll manage vendor setups and guest experiences, and you’ll help with on-site membership at the Xsolla Club to ensure guests have a positive time.
