Canadian Natural Resources seeks a full-time Engineering Student in Fort McMurray for a 12-month placement with the Mine Maintenance, Planning and Reliability team, starting January or September 2027. Based at Horizon or Albian Sands, you’ll gain experience with heavy equipment, troubleshoot issues, analyze performance data, and help shape maintenance strategies for mining trucks and shovels in a safety-first setting, with an 8 on 6 off, 10-hour schedule. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Mechanical or Mining engineering, mechanically inclined, with data analysis skills, a valid Class 5 Alberta license, and a pre-employment drug screen.
