Canadian Natural Resources is seeking an Environmental Reclamation Student for an eight‑month term starting May 2027, based in Fort McMurray at the Horizon or Albian Oil Sands sites, with an eight days on, six days off schedule and a 10‑hour day, safety sensitive. The role is hands on fieldwork to support reclamation operations, collect soil, vegetation, water and wildlife data, conduct surveys and weed monitoring, and update GIS data with ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123. Ideal candidates are 2nd to 4th year undergrads or Master’s students in Land Reclamation, Forestry, Environmental or related fields, with a valid Class 5 license and physical readiness; assets include prior reclamation experience, ATV or watercraft experience, and ArcGIS collectors. Benefits include Fly-In/Fly-Out options from Calgary or Edmonton and relocation potential. This position primarily focuses on fieldwork, providing you with valuable hands-on experience.
