Fertility First in Hurstville is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least two years of experience to join our fertility team. The role blends patient care with education and administrative duties, including venipuncture, injections, artificial insemination, and data entry, plus rotation on an after hours telephone roster and half-day Saturdays. The ideal candidate is empathetic, an excellent communicator, and skilled at collaborating with doctors and scientists to tailor treatment plans. IVF or reproductive medicine exposure is desirable, but in-house training is provided. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a full time basis, located in Hurstville. The job would require a minimum of 38 hours each week. You will also be required to participate in a weekly rotating after hours telephone roster shared amongst the nurses. You will occasionally be asked to work a Saturday that roughly runs for a half day.
Fertility nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them along every step of their fertility treatment. Alongside clinical duties, a significant portion of your role will involve providing patient care, support, and education within an office environment. Patient interaction will be in person as well as via telephone and email. On a daily basis your role will involve, however not limited to:
• Face-to-face patient interviews and phone conversations.
• Collaboration with doctors and scientists to coordinate care and tailor the treatment plan to each unique patient.
• Providing instructions and education to patients regarding their treatment plan and medications.
• Providing pathology results to patients and the provider.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, clinical data entry, and general administrative duties.
• Venipuncture and injections.
• Artificial insemination procedures. • Rotating weekly after hours telephone roster.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (with current AHPRA registration) with a minimum 2 years experience. We are seeking a candidate that is passionate and interested in specialising in fertility. You should have strong clinical skills, but also strong people skills. We are looking for an empathetic person, who can build rapport and provide genuine, authentic care to our patients. We are looking for someone who can think critically and is adept at problem solving.

Mandatory Requirements
• Current APHRA as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience

Previous experience in IVF or Reproductive Medicine In-house training will be provided to new hires. Statements of service from previous employers will be required once hired
