Job Description

As our Nursing Administration Officer, you'll be the backbone of our nursing team's administrative operations. You'll help ensure every patient's journey runs smoothly from start to finish.

Your Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external providers to obtain and enter pathology and radiology results into electronic patient records
  • Coordinate theatre and laboratory procedure scheduling with the medical team and hospital
  • Create and send consent forms and pre-health questionnaires to patients through our portal
  • Support the genetics referral process, tracking from referral through to completion
  • Assist with daily clinic preparation and distribution of theatre lists
  • Attend nursing team meetings and prepare minutes
  • Maintain accurate documentation through scanning and data entry
  • Uphold quality, compliance, and workplace health and safety standards

Qualifications

You'll be a great fit for this role if you bring previous experience in a healthcare or medical administration setting, strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for customer service and patient care. You'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and will demonstrate a high level of integrity with a clear understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality.
