Our site in Gilching, Germany, is an agile hub for our aerospace expertise. As part of the Aerospace Group’s Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division, our Gilching location plays a key role in delivering customer-focused innovations and solutions for commercial and military aerospace manufacturers worldwide.
As a Finance Manager you will provide financial leadership to the Gilching, Germany facility, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, drive actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in an international environment
• 3-5 years of manufacturing finance experience, with a strong focus on cost accounting / plant controlling
• 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred
• Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
• Sound working knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.
• Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals
• Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills
• Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter
• Fluent German & B2 Level English
