What you’ll do:
We are now seeking a Supply Chain Manager – Transitions to lead the planning and execution of complex supply chain transition projects across our global manufacturing network. This role is responsible for ensuring supply continuity, managing project risks, and driving successful execution of product and supplier transitions in line with Eaton’s Aerospace Supplier Transition processes.
This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Lead major transition projects once approved through gate review, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, and business requirements.
- Manage supplier-to-supplier transfers, emergency supplier exits, in-sourcing, out-sourcing, factory moves, and inter-plant product transfers.
- Minimise product transition timelines while maintaining supply chain continuity and compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrated master plans and project schedules using established best-practice project management processes.
- Perform critical path analysis, assess schedule impacts, and develop recovery plans to support successful project execution.
- Support program and project managers with project reporting and provide data for customer and leadership reviews.
- Develop and maintain project scorecards and dashboards to provide visibility of project health, risks, milestones, and corrective actions.
- Forecast resource requirements and resolve resource constraints across cross-functional teams.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to drive project success.
- Coach and mentor project team members in project planning and scheduling best practices.
- Act as a voting member in Divisional Gate Reviews, ensuring projects meet Eaton’s standard governance and stage-gate requirements.
- Support additional business initiatives and departmental activities to ensure reliable, on-time program execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Materials Management, or Supply Chain
Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, MFG/Pro, Kinaxis, and/or Enovia (PLM)
Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment desirable
Skills:
- Strong project management, planning, and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
