PTV Logistics is seeking a Financial Modeling Specialist (m/f/d) to design and own the forward looking financial models that guide strategy, pricing, growth, and capital allocation for a fast growing SaaS business. Build and improve long range models for ARR, retention, margins, and unit economics, run scenarios and sensitivity analyses, challenge assumptions, and translate complexity into clear decision narratives for leadership. You will answer strategic questions on pricing changes, growth resilience, and where to invest for long term value. Requires several years in FP&A or related fields, ideally in SaaS, advanced Excel, and comfort with structured data; SQL or modern FP&A tools a plus, strong communication. Remote possible, Karlsruhe base; tailor your CV with concrete modeling work and measurable impact, highlight ownership and storytelling skills.

As a Financial Modeling Specialist, you will not maintain spreadsheets for reporting’s sake.
You will design and own the financial models leadership uses to understand the future — how strategy, pricing, growth, and capital allocation interact across the group.

• Build and continuously improve long-range financial models for a modern SaaS business

• Model key value drivers such as ARR, retention, margins, and unit economics

• Run scenarios and sensitivity analyses

• Challenge assumptions and stress-test growth hypotheses

• Translate financial complexity into clear decision narratives

• Support leadership in answering strategic questions, such as:

  • What happens if pricing changes?

  • How resilient is growth under different market conditions?

  • Where should we invest to maximize long-term value?

• Several years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, investment banking, or transaction services

• Ideally experience in a high-growth SaaS environment

• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, unit economics, and retention dynamics

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with structured datasets

• Experience with SQL or modern FP&A tools is a plus

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial logic to non-finance stakeholders

• Systems thinker with a structured and analytical mindset

• High ownership mentality and desire to create real impact
