What You’ll Do On The Line

Each day, you’ll set up your workstation with the needed ingredients and equipment, then prep ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, trimming, and peeling to build components for recipes. You’ll work with a range of utensils and handle knives safely as you move through the prep process, ensuring items are ready for cooks to assemble dishes. You’ll also arrange, garnish, and portion foods according to established guidelines and store foods properly by adhering to food safety policies and procedures. Maintaining a clean, sanitized workspace and equipment is part of the job, and you’ll contribute to a positive service environment by staying approachable and courteous to guests, clients, and co-workers. The role requires following Aramark safety policies and protecting company assets as you work in a team-driven setting that may adapt duties based on client needs.
