About the role:

Based at our Pokeno manufacturing site, you will play a critical role in implementing food safety strategies and ensuring consistent compliance across the site. You will be a key driver of proactive food safety controls and continuous improvement within the factory.

 

More specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Implementing and verifying factory food safety programs including cGMP, HACCP, zoning, pathogen management and foreign matter control
  • Developing and delivering food safety training and building capability across the site
  • Conducting GMP and food safety audits, and driving corrective and preventative actions
  • Verifying the effective execution of the HACCP system and pre-requisite programs
  • Analysing trends, data and results to identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting investigation and resolution of food safety incidents using structured problem-solving tools
  • Driving a proactive food safety culture with the goal of zero food safety defects

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment, ideally within infant nutrition 
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, cGMP and regulatory requirements
  • Background in food science, food microbiology or food processing
  • Experience establishing, leading or supporting HACCP studies
  • Knowledge of zoning principles and pathogen monitoring programs
  • Confident communication and training delivery skills, with the ability to influence on the factory floor
  • A proactive, detail-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capability
