About the role: 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and based at our Pokeno site, you will play a critical role in maintaining high quality standards across our warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all inbound and outbound goods meet quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements, while supporting production and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

More specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Inspecting inbound and outbound goods to ensure they are free from damage and foreign matter (quality control, warehouse quality, GMP)
  • Completing and maintaining accurate documentation for all warehouse movements, including receipting, dispatch paperwork, and seal control (warehouse administration, compliance)
  • Creating, checking, and confirming picks against production orders and shipping documentation (order accuracy, production support)
  • Updating scheduling systems with booking statuses and movement information (ERP systems, warehouse systems)
  • Conducting quality checks, label verification, inventory enquiries, and registering improvements or investigations in Promapp (continuous improvement, inventory accuracy)
  • Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and housekeeping standards across the warehouse and facilities (5S, hygiene, food safety)
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team with daily tasks, enquiries, data entry, and workload coordination

 

What you will bring

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a warehousing or logistics environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and health & safety practices
  • A hands-on approach and physical capability for warehouse tasks
  • A willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performance team

 

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV (or similar)
  • Familiarity with health & safety standards
