Global Supply Planner
Quad LockQuad Lock, based in Melbourne, is one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies and a certified Great Place to Work. The team has built a reputation for its patented case-based mounting system, serving customers in over 100 countries and continuing to grow rapidly. The company is looking for a Global Supply Planner to join on a full-time, onsite basis in Melbourne, a role that will suit someone who enjoys shaping a global operation and collaborating across teams.
The Global Supply Planner sits at the center of Quad Lock’s worldwide supply chain, managing end-to-end planning for both B2B and direct-to-consumer channels. The position focuses on balancing availability, stock levels, and cost efficiency while keeping the supply chain flexible as the company scales. The role involves hands-on planning in Logility, keeping an eye on global stock positions, and overseeing OEM orders, with an emphasis on building smarter workflows and automations to improve how information flows between internal teams and external partners.
If you like cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and creating scalable processes that help a high-growth hardware company stay in stock, this could be a great fit.
Keeping the global plan in motion
In practice, the role entails shaping supply plans and purchase orders so each regional distribution centre hits demand targets while staying within inventory parameters. Daily tasks include watching exception alerts in Logility and spotting risks that require action, as well as maintaining visibility of low stock through the Backorder Board and communicating proactively across teams. You’ll also review B2B orders to align with forecast and safeguard DTC availability, while working with demand planning and sales to resolve stock concerns and address excess or slow-moving stock.
Further, the role covers the end-to-end OEM order cycle, from placement to ex-factory release, keeping key dates on track and coordinated with logistics on shipments, delays, and international supply needs. You’ll process and track purchase orders, managing amendments to keep stakeholders aligned. In addition, you’ll back up master data responsibilities in NetSuite and Logility, including SKU setup and maintenance, lead times, MOQ, and pricing contracts, helping ensure data flows smoothly across systems for planning and reporting.
Analysis and reporting sit at the core of ongoing improvement: you’ll examine supply chain data to identify risks and opportunities, support monthly metrics like availability and stock turns, and look for automation or AI-driven improvements that reduce manual work and improve accuracy. You’ll participate in monthly planning cycles and provide cover for related roles when needed. Cross-functional engagement is essential, partnering with demand planning, logistics, sales, marketing, product, manufacturing, and customer experience teams to keep plans aligned and to provide timely insights that support business decisions. On the commercial side, you’ll assess the implications of supply choices and present clear options to help leadership decide, including the company’s target sea freight to air freight split.
