On a day-to-day basis, you’ll receipt goods and store them in the appropriate areas, keeping a steady eye on stock rotation and accessibility for the wards and kitchen teams. You’ll help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, fridges, and delivery areas, ensuring all food stock deliveries meet safety standards and are handled correctly from receipt to storage. You’ll participate in stock takes and support counter service from the store window to SVHM wards, acting as a helpful link between the kitchen and the broader hospital operations.
The role also covers general sanitation duties in the delivery and store areas, reinforcing a safe, tidy environment for everyone who relies on these supplies. In short, you’ll keep the stores running smoothly so kitchen and ward staff can focus on delivering great patient care.
What you’ll bring to the role

The role is part-time, offering 20 hours per week spread Monday to Thursday, on site in Melbourne. The classification for this position is JR3, with a salary of 59,282 per annum pro rata.
