Nesto Group is seeking a Growth Operations Manager to join its Toronto team on a hybrid basis. In this role you’ll help scale the business by bringing strong processes and the right technology to a fast-growing organization that’s backed by mortgage technology and financing capabilities across Canada.

As one of Canada’s leading mortgage technology providers, Nesto Group oversees more than CAD $80 billion in residential and commercial mortgages under administration. The company combines deep mortgage expertise with cloud and AI technology to push lending forward, with a footprint across direct-to-consumer lending, broker channels, and multi-family commercial lending. With about 1,300 team members nationwide, they’re building Canada’s mortgage ecosystem of the future and are looking for people who want to shape what’s next.

This role will appeal to someone comfortable working in a high-visibility setting who can blend sharp analysis with practical execution, guide cross-functional initiatives, and drive real impact through well-structured programs and change management.

The Work

The Growth Operations Manager will partner with a functional leader to equip their team with solid processes and technology, while owning strategic, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable value. On a day-to-day basis you’ll spot opportunities to improve core processes and help grow results, while shaping the experiences for borrowers, brokers, and capital partners through thoughtful design and data-backed decisions.

You’ll build impactful, action-oriented data reporting to inform decision making, and you’ll help generate and prioritise a growth roadmap by coordinating with Product and Technology teams. You’ll lead large-scale projects from scoping through implementation and change management, and you’ll drive cross-company efforts like deploying new enterprise software, integrating acquisitions, or onboarding major partners, all while coordinating stakeholders from senior leaders to frontline staff and navigating competing priorities to deliver value.

You’ll quickly become an expert in unfamiliar areas to guide projects to completion and you’ll own the success of key enterprise software across the company, shaping how Growth Operations works as the function grows and evolves.

The Right Candidate

  • 3-6 years of experience in management consulting or an operational role in a startup.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to structure ideas and data into clear, compelling business cases that quantify impact.
  • Strong prioritisation skills, solid organizational capabilities, effective stakeholder management, good time management, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • A clear and persuasive communicator who can drive change and represent the organization with senior partners.
  • A process-oriented mindset, focused on delivering practical solutions that work now and scale over time.
  • A curious mind that explores new ideas and technology and looks for smart ways to apply them.
  • Work from the Toronto office 2+ days per week.
  • Nice to have: Mortgage or financial sector experience.
  • Nice to have: Fluency in French.

Advice for applicants

Lead with the most relevant cross-functional growth operations experience on your resume, focusing on projects that involved Product and Technology, and the change management you led to implement them.

Be ready to discuss how you manage stakeholders across senior leadership to frontline staff, including how you handle ambiguity and conflicting priorities to achieve a concrete result.

Prepare a thoughtful question about how Growth Operations interfaces with Product and Technology and how the team defines and prioritises the growth roadmap for the near term.
