When you describe your must-have skills, back them up with concrete examples, tell a short story about a time you kept a dining area clean and well presented during a busy service, or how you helped a team complete service tasks efficiently.
In interviews, be ready to talk about how you handle peak periods, coordinate with kitchen and dining teams, and follow safety and allergen procedures. You may be asked to describe how you stay organized and maintain a welcoming environment while managing multiple tasks.
