The Department

Health Information Services provides a range of functions across Bayside Health – Alfred Care Group including Victorian Admitted Episode Dataset (VAED) reporting, medical record management, clinical information requests, dictation and transcription services, Alfred and Caulfield Switchboard Services along with Enquiries Services at The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital and the Paula Fox Melanoma Cancer Centre.

The Role

The Alfred Care Group HIS departments have a full time or permanent part-time opportunity in the role of HIS Clerk, primarily based at The Alfred Hospital.

In this position your role will include contributing to the patient EMR via importing and/or scanning functions, auditing of scanned documents, provide support to other HIS staff, coverage for the Senior Administrative Assistant and other HIS administrative duties as requested.

Qualifications Required

  • Year 12 graduate or relevant experience
