What You'll Do:

As State Manager VIC/TAS, you’ll lead sales growth, customer retention and profitability across the Independents and CRT network by building trusted partnerships and aligning commercial activity to customer needs. You’ll work closely with CRT members, Independent customers and internal teams to develop strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, optimise inventory and marketing activity, and ensure a high level of service across the region.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with independent customers across VIC and TAS
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to direct reports
  • Develop and review strategic account plans aligned to customer and business goals
  • Drive revenue growth through consultative selling, tailored solutions and fair negotiations
  • Use market insights, customer feedback and reporting tools to inform decisions and improve performance
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support customer outcomes
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to track progress and keep plans on course
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements and relevant legislation

What You'll Bring:

You’ll bring a strong commercial mindset, the ability to build credibility with customers and internal stakeholders, and experience leading sales performance in a similar environment. You’re comfortable using data to guide decisions, confident in negotiation and relationship management, and able to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational leadership.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar sales or state leadership role
  • Knowledge of key cropping and or animal health markets relevant to the region
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver commercial outcomes
  • Analytical and financial capability, with confidence interpreting data and reporting insights
  • Business experience across sales, marketing and financial management
  • Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture or Business will be highly regarded
  • Comfort using systems and tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and CRM platforms
