In this role you’ll be part of a kitchen crew that keeps crockery, cutlery and equipment spotless and ready for service, while assisting with routine prep tasks as required.

Keeping the kitchen spotless in Adelaide

On a typical day you’ll clean crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen gear using both commercial dishwashers and hand washing. Rubbish removal and sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors are part of the routine too. Cleaning and sanitising surfaces with the correct chemical sequence is essential to meet hygiene standards. You’ll also lend a hand to the kitchen team with basic prep tasks, such as grating, peeling, chopping and preparing batters, garnishes and seasonings.
