Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager and team with day to day maintenance requirements of all hotel plant and equipment, as well as general upkeep of the rooms.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance and safety for grounds and rooms.
  • Complete daily rounds and promptly respond to and resolve maintenance requests.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Accor WHS standards. 
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of all equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with external contractor management processes. 
  • Complete tasks in required timeframes.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar Maintenance role is ideal, with a previous trade background preferred (Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing).
  • Basic knowledge in areas of HVAC, Painting, and computer skills.
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Must be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. 
  • Effective time management and problem-solving ability.
  • Physically fit to be able to carry out day to day Maintenance requirements. 
  • Flexible to work shifts on weekends as required.​
